Welcome to Team Florida Panhandle!!!

I lost my mother Queen Eva M. Saterfield on Thursday, October 6, 2022. She passed after courageously battling pancreatic cancer. I may have lost my mother to this horrible disease, but I am making it my mission to bring more awareness and save lives. I know many families along the Florida Panhandle has or is struggling with this terrible disease! Myself and my amazing employer, Terrezza Optical has partnered with PanCAN to fight together!! Team Florida Panhandle will be participating in the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Bagdad Mill Site Park, (7024 Magnolia St. Bagdad, FL 32530) from 10:00am to 12:00pm! We are asking everyone to please wear purple, which is the color of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month! However, if you register for free, join our team, and raise $50 by April 6, 2025 you’ll receive an official PanCAN PurpleStride 2025 T-shirt! Our goals are to bring awareness, save lives, and raise funds for more research! Pancreatic cancer picked the wrong family! WE WILL BEAT THIS FOR QUEEN EVA M. SATERFIELD and help so many along the way!!

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
