The Grumpstrong team wants to honor our hero, Dave Richardson and make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need you to do it!

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Help us to honor, Dave Richardson, the ultimate warrior. Dave battled this horrific disease for a year with positivity, grit and grace, AND never lost faith. 

In honor of his police career, the GRUMPSTRONG team fundraising goal is Dave's badge number, 2245. The more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would be profoundly grateful for your donation. 

Dave dreamed of being cancer free and educating others about this disease. Sadly he can not, so let us advocate for him! Thank you in advance for your support of Dave and his legacy.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
