Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

In May, my parents went on their “once in a lifetime” trip celebrating their 45th anniversary. On June 16th, their actual
anniversary (also Father’s Day), my dad ended up in the emergency room and was told he had a mass on his pancreas and to get home to his oncologist ASAP. The rest of the story is short but certainly not sweet. We tried to manage his Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer with the help of MSK, but unfortunately on September 5th, he lost his fight. It was the most excruciating thing to witness and even harder to go through for my dad. 

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
