Hello!   Once again you have found "Steve's Team"  - we're back and continuing the fight to raise funds in support of pancreatic cancer  research.  There is good news on multiple fronts over the past year, including: personalized mRNA vaccines which showed promise in the early clinical trials; liquid biopsy tests; and not least of all, researchers have found a way to create miniature, 3-dimensional tumors in the lab that mimic pancreatic cancer.  

YOU and your support have made these steps forward possible; and I am so grateful for what you've done over the 12+ years we've been raising funds for a cure.

April 26 is the date our team Strides again.  Charlotte will host the big day and we will be one of over 60 teams striding for victory over this awful disease.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
