On April 26, we’ll walk in honor of Bill Langlois, whose lifelong dedication to the cancer community has made a lasting impact. Bill was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer on December 16, 2023. After undergoing an experimental and successful liver ablation and embolization at Moffitt Cancer Center, the stubborn tumor in his pancreas refused to be removed even after 5 hours of surgery. He’s now receiving hormone therapy that’s preventing further growth, allowing him to continue living life to the fullest. These treatments are available because of research funded by events like PurpleStride.
