This photo captures the incredible strength and positive attitude of a man who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, a disease with a five-year survival rate of just 11%. It was taken during his second year of participating in the PanCan walk in Charlotte. This year marks our fourth walk without our beloved John, but we continue this journey in his honor—supporting those fighting the disease, the families and friends affected, and raising awareness for the vital research needed to develop better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
