Momma D’s Marchers is back in full swing! I started this group with my mom back in 2014 when she was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. Never hearing of this before I knew I had to take action, and so my research began. Wanting to find a way of showing my love and support and sense of community during her new journey, I ended coming across this group called Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. And thus Momma D’s Marchers was created!

 I remembering laying next to mom in bed trying to come up with names and how we wanted to make a huge group and celebrate and just be present with her in the moment. Gave her something to look forward to. Having everyone she loved there for her, sharing the word of our cause. It made an impact and one I’ll always be grateful for. 

Pancan has been a big part of my life, and their event is truly something special. I look forward to it every year!

Our team wants to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need you to do it!

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.
