Dear family, friends and foes of Pancreatic Cancer,

I will be taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer in the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PAN CAN) PURPLE STRIDES walk On Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

In addition to walking in memory of my brother Nick who succumbed to this dreaded disease 27 years ago, I also will be celebrating ringing the bell After 10 sessions of chemo therapy and recovery from the life saving Whipple surgery. 

I was one of the lucky ones who discovered my malignant tumor at the head of the pancreas at an early stage.

 Without improved methods of early detection, too many others will suffer. If you're not in TBA, you can search for a walk in your city and help bring awareness on the need to continued funding for research and development. Thank you! Pat
