Hello all thank you so much for joining me in our fight to raise funds and awareness for this horrible disease. 

It’s that time of year again, Chris and Charlie’s’ Crusaders are hitting the streets to raise money and awareness for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network for the 5th consecutive year! Since dad passed in late 2021, we have continued annually to reach the grand club level of fundraising in his memory and we hope to continue this trend for the 2025 season with your support. With 80% of pancreatic research coming from government funding which is now at risk, your donation means more now than ever!

I started this team in honor of my dad Chris after his diagnosis October 2020 who lost his battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer after a courageous 9 month battle on July 3, 2021. Not long following Chris, his father Charlie passed away on January 4, 2022 from metastatic pancreatic cancer. To say the least, it's been a lot of heartache recently, yet an eye opening experience. My dad Chris was so proud of this team for raising over $10,000  during his battle in his honor and he participated in the event from down at his home in South Carolina. Through chemo and sickness, he completed a 5k in better time than most of us healthy participants, although it was no a surprise as dad was a fitness and outdoor enthusiast and always loved a challenge! While we will have two less loved ones here, we have gained two angels who I know would want us to continue to fundraise to support those still fighting!
