Rita, our HERO Mom, has always taught us about strength and determination but over these past 2 & 1/2 years she has shown us what being a TRUE WARRIOR really is! She endured brutal Pancreatectomy surgery (removal of her pancreas, spleen, gallbladder and piece of her stomach) which required months of recuperation followed by 6 months of harsh chemotherapy for a chance of being cured of this vicious disease!

Unfairly, only a few months later our hopes were crushed as another tumor was found. But as always, Rita has remained determined and immediately began to fight again taking advantage of every and any treatment option available. 

With your help, we will continue to fight this insidious disease!
