Our team wants to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need you to do it!

As oncology nurses at CentraState Medical Center, we are honored to care for patients through some of life’s most challenging moments. Every day, we witness the resilience, courage, and strength of those facing cancer — and it’s these experiences that fuel our passion to make a difference beyond the bedside.

This year, we are fundraising in loving memory of the many patients we’ve lost to pancreatic cancer. Their strength and stories stay with us and continue to inspire everything we do.

We also carry this cause close to our hearts as one of our own nurses has experienced this loss firsthand, having lost her father to pancreatic cancer. This journey is deeply personal for us as both caregivers and individuals.

Your support means everything. Together, we can help advance pancreatic cancer research, support patients and families, and bring hope where it’s needed most.

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would be profoundly grateful for your donation. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
