Welcome to Team Do It For Debbie's PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

Early this year, the luminous Deborah Lifton lost her battle with pancreatic cancer, just three days shy of her 49th birthday. Debbie was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a stunningly talented classical singer and voice teacher. As her family wrote in her obituary,"Debbie left the enduring imprint of her talent and wisdom on the souls of all who knew her. The warmth, generosity and positive energy that she radiated in every interaction drew people to her like moths to a brilliant flame."

Team Do it for Debbie was started by Debbie's niece Hannah and sister-in-law, Rachel, to honor Debbie. Debbie fought pancreatic cancer with courage, grace, and resilience for 18 months, beating the odds multiple times and receiving cutting-edge treatment. It still wasn't enough. Now, in Debbie's honor, we're helping raise money to fight this current disease and expand the options for patients facing an often-terrifying diagnosis.

That's why we're participating in the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more. Please consider donating to our team's page in Debbie's honor.
