‍Join TEAM NANYA for PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturaday April 26, 2025.
The beginning of 2025 brought the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer for my mother aka Nanya. It was news that we were not expecting and a true hit from left field, but she has the best team of doctors caring for her at MedStar Georgetown Hospital and they have a plan for success. She is home now and preparing to start chemo in a few days and then have surgery in the coming months. True to her Nanya spirit she has a positive outlook and is looking forward to life without cancer. She means the world to me and I want to honor her courage and strength.
