My personal story that many of you do not know about is the sudden and Gut-Wrenching loss of my beautiful Mama, Mary, in April 2024.  

Our team is rallied together, to fight back the only way that we know how! To HELP in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer. To help others as my beautiful Mama would've done!

Our team is walking in the PanCAN PurpleStride Fundraiser, on Saturday, April 26, 2025. We are raising money to fund vital research and new treatment options to provide to patients; and to fund the continued free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here is where you come in! 

Please give a gift of any size to help patients and families facing the devastating pancreatic cancer diagnosis.  

This cancer is a SNEAKY @^*'! One week Mama and I were taking a 2-step dance class together, and it seemed like the next week she was diagnosed with advanced (stage 4) pancreatic cancer. 19 days later, my Mama was called to Heaven.  This SNEAKY cancer was sudden, and it came on strong. Had there been better testing available, my beautiful, kind, loving, giving, Mama might still be with us. The joy that she was, would still be here to help brighten this earth.

Roughly the same time, my beautiful Aunt Terry began her battle with cancer. During her surgery for another condition, her Pancreatic Cancer was COINCIDENTLY discovered. My kind, sweet, lovable Aunt Terry is fighting strong today.

Please give as best you can, to honor those that we have lost, to help those that ARE and those THAT WILL be battling this cancer.

We walk to help RAISE the current 5-year survival rate of only 13%.

PanCan is striving for a 20% survival rate by the year 2030.
