Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Dear Friends and Family: It’s hard to believe that two years has passed since I lost my sister and best friend, Julie, to pancreatic cancer. She wasn’t just my sister—she was my daily phone call, my confidante, my ROCK. A dedicated physical education teacher, a loving wife and mom, and the kind of person who could light up any room with her energy and warmth. Every day without her is a reminder of how cruel this disease is and how much work remains to be done.

Pancreatic cancer is relentless, often detected too late, leaving families with few options and little time. But we can change that. Advances in research and early detection are giving families more hope than ever, and that’s why I’m committed to this fight.

This year, I’ll be walking in Boston on Saturday, April 26, alongside Julie’s husband, kids, friends, and relatives as part of Warrior Jules Team—the very first PanCAN walk I participated in when I surprised Julie years ago. It will be an emotional but meaningful day, and I would love your support. Whether through a donation, sharing Julie’s story, or simply cheering us on, every gesture helps fuel the fight against this devastating disease.

My goal this year is $5,000, and while I know Boston is a bigger challenge, I also know that with the generosity and kindness of this incredible USRS family, we can make a real impact.

If you’d like to donate, please click the link below. And for those in the Boston area, I'd love for you to walk with us!

Love,

Mary Beth
