Dear family and friends,

It has been nearly a year and a half since our dad, Alphonse Ramos, ultimately succumbed to his pancreatic cancer. He gave all he could to that fight, and now it’s up to us to continue fighting on in his name.

While we stood by him during his time of need, it is now our job to continue fighting, so that someday, no one else has to go through what he went through. So no other family members have to go through what we went through.

Please join us in donating to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) and join us on April 26th as we show up in force to help spread awareness.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
