My dad, Albert Tran, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2024. He is the kindest, smartest, and most stubborn person I know. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting or knowing him, you would know he is a funny, loving and witty man who loves playing tennis and loves good galbi (korean marinated short rib) in all of its forms! He has been putting 200% into fighting this cancer and our family has been right there alongside him. 

Our team wants to make the biggest impact on the lives of not only my dad, but all pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do it! 

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.
