Our beautiful wife, mom and beloved grandma, Jane passed away on March 29, 2025, following a remarkable 15-month battle with pancreatic cancer. She spent her final days at home, surrounded by her family. She was only 73.
When Mom was diagnosed in January 2024, she faced it the same way she lived — with strength, hope, and a deep love for her family. She pursued every treatment offered by her incredible team at the University of Michigan’s Rogel Cancer Center, not for herself, but because she wanted more time with Dad, her children, and her grandchildren. Because of her strength and determination, we were given more time than we ever expected — time we’ll forever treasure.
Now, we are fundraising in honor of Mom to continue our part in this journey—fighting for better treatments, more research, and hope for all those impacted by pancreatic cancer.
WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS:
- 5-year survival rate is just 13%
- 3rd leading cause of cancer-related deaths, expected to become 2nd by 2030
- 90% of patients have targetable mutations, which could mean more targeted treatment is possible - if research continues
