Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We are sending an invitation that holds deep meaning for the Baron family. On Saturday, April 26, 2025, we will gather at the Philadelphia Pancreatic Cancer Network PurpleStride event to celebrate the legacy of our mom, Jane Baron and continue the fight against pancreatic cancer.

As many of you know, our mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. Though her prognosis was devastating, her spirit remained unwavering. While Jane never had the opportunity to ring the symbolic bell at the end of her cancer treatment, we created JBAD Heroes in 2015 to give her a symbolic bell-ringing moment. Crossing the PurpleStride finish line that day became her triumphant celebration of strength, resilience, and unwavering courage.

This year, we are proud to walk in Jane's honor again. JBAD Heroes represents Jane’s enduring spirit and the collective strength of those who loved and supported her. Whether you knew our mom as a family member, friend, dancer, mentor, or teammate, your presence means the world.

Jane often spoke of her hope that a cure for all cancers would be found someday. Together, we can keep that hope alive. Thank you for your continued support and helping us honor Jane’s memory.
