Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025, to honor our angel, Cindy Jergan.

Cindy was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in September of 2020. She overcame a lot during 4.5 year battle, all while having a smile on her face. Cindy walked in her first PanCan walk last April in Washington DC, alongside friends and family. Cindy recently lost her long and hard fought battle on February 6th, 2025. We will be walking to honor her & her legacy of living her life to the fullest regardless of what she was faced with. 

We will also be walking to honor Carol Cubelic. Carol Cubelic, Cindy's mother, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in June of 2024. Carol lost her courageous battle on February 20th, 2024. Carol was loved by all who knew her & we will be walking to honor her life & all the lives she touched.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
