Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

It is hard to rationalize a loss of a family member, especially when the loss was sudden and unexpected. My sweet Grandpapa, who was also a loving father, husband, and brother, died from pancreatic cancer. It is still hard to come to terms with that reality.

He was diagnosed November 17th, 2024 and died January 21st, 2025. When people say pancreatic cancer is an aggressive one, they are not lying. These harsh odds are unfortunately not out of the ordinary for those diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. 

The Alonso Family will be taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.
