Dear family members & friends,

In my cancer journey for almost three years now (wow!! yes still here), you have supported me with love, kindness, prayers, visits, gifts, and help in every conceivable way, and I am truly grateful. Now I'm asking for another favor if you can—to support PanCan, ie, Pancreatic Action Network in its annual fundraiser. 

PanCan's biggest fundraiser, Purple Stride, is on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at many locations throughout the US. Our daughter Laura has started a team TeamJeanne for this big fundraiser and we plan to walk for PanCan at Purple Stride Atlanta. This year's event in Atlanta will be held at Perimeter Mall on the north side of Atlanta.

PanCan is national organization whose mission is to support pancreatic cancer patients and anyone affected by the disease. PanCan advocates for increased funding, advances scientific research, builds community for pancreatic cancer patients, and offers personalized services to pancreatic cancer patients, and all services are free. I have benefitted from PanCan’s patient personalized services, as well as their general information on new treatments and research initiatives on pancreatic cancer through their many webinars.

We are now in yet another phase of my cancer journey. My original tumor was surgically removed over a year ago, and I've subsequently had radiation and lots more chemo. As a result, my metastases, which are in my neck and back, have been tamped down and as I say they're lying dormant for now. I'm on oral chemo at present as we continue to try to zap those 'lil buggers who are likely hiding in the weeds. We appreciate all your prayers and good wishes!
