Hello! My name is Lauren. As some of you may know, I lost my grandmother (aka Granny, Cranny, Cranberry) to pancreatic cancer on April 7th, 2023. It was the most heartbreaking and unexpected experience, watching someone I love so deeply fight through the brutal battle of pancreatic cancer.

This year, I’m taking part in the PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 26, 2025, to help make a real impact in the fight against pancreatic cancer.

I’m raising money to support vital research for new treatments, provide free personalized support through PanCAN Patient Services, and so much more. I’d love to have your support as I take this next step. Together, we can make the biggest impact in the fight against cancer. Every little bit helps and truly makes a difference.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
