Since September 2023, our dear friend Peter has been battling pancreatic cancer. His resilience and determination serve as an inspiration to all who know him. While navigating this difficult path, Peter has generously offered his time and encouragement to those facing similar medical struggle including both old friends and those he has just met.

For decades, Peter has organized or participated in numerous fundraising and volunteer projects, many of which have supported cancer foundations. Now, this is our chance to rally behind him as he faces his own battle against this disease.

This year, we’re participating in the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network's PurpleStride to honor Peter’s perseverance and his commitment to furthering vital research and providing essential patient support for this disease.

We’ve formed a team in his name so that he can feel the strength of our collective support every step of the way and will know he doesn't have to stand alone, much less attempt to walk alone. With our support, we hope Peter will be able to push past any physical limitations and complete the walk, knowing that he is surrounded by caring friends as he continues to raise awareness for PanCAN.

Just within the past year, the team has lost mutual friends to this disease, passing away far too young and far too soon. We walk in their memory, in support of Peter, and to help raise awareness and funds so that fewer people will have to face the devastating impact of this aggressive illness.

Peter's faith, hope and spirit remain strong, and with your support, we can continue to make meaningful strides in the fight against pancreatic cancer!
