Our small but mighty team just completed our walk in memory of Jolene. PanCAN supports people in treatment and also funds research for early diagnosis and treatment. Even more important, they lobby the federal government to support research on pancreatic cancer—something that is at great risk in the current environment where so much federal funding for science (and so many other things—is been decimated.

If early diagnosis had been available years ago, Jolene's pancreatic cancer might have been caught at an earlier stage when treatment and recovery were more possible. That's still true for thousands of people each year.
