Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

As many of you know, our amazing father, Gary Dye, was diagnosed with unresectable pancreatic cancer in March 2024. This was devastating news, especially after losing his brother, Ronald Dye, to pancreatic cancer in October 2010. We’ve already seen firsthand how deeply this disease affects families. 

Gary has begun chemotherapy in the hope that his tumor will shrink enough for him to undergo the Whipple procedure. 

Our dad is a true champion. Throughout his life, he has overcome countless hurdles—and through it all, he continues to face each day with a smile on his face and the love of God in his heart. He’s an incredible husband, a devoted father, and a loving grandfather.

Our team wants to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need you to do it!

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.
