In 2024 we lost our mom to pancreatic cancer. She fought well, but it is a relentless disease. Since pancreatic cancer is considered "rare" it doesn't receive nearly as much fundraising for research as more common cancers. Yet its incidence is steadily rising and with one of the higheset mortality rates, we need to do more to drive money and awareness towards improving treatments.

Last year my family and I walked in Dallas' PurpleStride not months after mom passed. This year, I'm forming a team and seeing who'd like to come out with us to enjoy a beautiful morning in Fair Park.
