Our story: 

Our dear dad and “Boppa”—Mons Arthur Teig (hence the MAT in MILES4MAT)—died almost six years ago from pancreatic cancer. He was given six months—and lived for almost two years after his diagnosis. Classic overachiever! We are walking in the PanCAN PurpleStride event this year to raise money for research, and to bring awareness to this brutal disease. 

The details: 

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Our team has set an ambitious fundraising goal of $2,000 because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make. We would be profoundly grateful for your donation. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
