Welcome to the Mellowes Center PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!
We are a group of pancreatic cancer researchers located at the Medical College of WI within the Mellowes Center for Genomic Sciences and Precision Medicine; our research focuses on understanding the role of epigenetics in pancreatic cancer progression and treatments.
We've intimately seen how novel research can change lives when combating pancreatic cancer, and we want to offer our support to the ones at the core of all our research: the survivors.
Therefore, we’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Every dollar raised through PurpleStride powers vital research for new treatments and early detection, supports free, personalized, one-to-one services for patients and families, and fuels advocacy efforts to increase federal research funding. Your support also helps provide access to innovative programs like PanCAN’s Know Your Tumor, which offers molecular testing and personalized treatment recommendations at no cost.
Here’s where you come in!
We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would be profoundly grateful for your donation. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
Want to help in a bigger way? We’d love for you to join our team! Just click the Register button at the top of this page to get started. Register for free, raise $50 and you’ll receive an official PanCAN PurpleStride 2025 T-shirt!
Let’s show everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer that we’re fighting for them – thank you for your support!
