Thanks for visiting the Cookin’ Up A Cure team page! This is Kit and I am a two year pancreatic cancer survivor! I owe my continued health and well-being in large part to the support of so many friends, family and loved ones who’ve shared prayers and thoughts for healing. I am using this time to help others who are dealing with this disease.
The 2024 New York PurpleStride Walk for Pancreatic Cancer will be on Saturday April 27, 2024 at the Seaside District Pier 17. Please come out and join Team Cooking Up A Cure for the walk if you can. If you’d rather support the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network on your own, you can contribute directly to the team here. Or you can even start your own fundraising page (PM for help in how to do this) and help us take our top fundraiser status the biggest city in the USA for 2024!

About PanCAN PurpleStride
Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.
On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
