In honor of our friend and founder, Marc Reich, who was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Ironwood Capital is sponsoring a Pancreatic Cancer “PanCAN” team.

Our team, Ironwood Strong, will participate in The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network's PurpleStride event on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The event is a 3.1-mile run/walk held in multiple cities across the U.S. bringing together pancreatic cancer patients, survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters to walk in honor of everyone affected by this terrible disease. PurpleStride is PanCAN's biggest fundraising event of the year and every dollar counts.

Ironwood will be fundraising and participating in PurpleStride Connecticut and PurpleStride Boston to support Marc in his battle with pancreatic cancer. The firm has made a corporate donation of $10,000 to start the team, will solicit individual donations, and provide a corporate match up to $10,000 to reach our overall fundraising goal of $30,000 or more.
