Bertha's Bodacious Bunch

Raised: $3,315

Goal: $10,000

Welcome to our team fundraising page!

On October 24, 2019, our sweet mother, wife, and friend lost her battle to pancreatic cancer. She fought for seven long years and we could not be more proud of her strength. This year's race will be different for many reasons, including the fact that we are now virtual, but we are asking that you continue to support this cause. Bertha believed deeply in PanCan's mission and your support means the world to us.

Our family received the devastating news on November 24, 2012, and has worked tirelessly to raise awareness around this unfortunate disease. Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.

We don't want to sit here in silence while others battle this horrible cancer. Will you join us in our fight? Please join our team and donate today. Every dollar raised is important and ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

We love and appreciate every one of you who has taken the time to visit this page and look forward to celebrating Bertha's life on the day of the race.
