Welcome to our team fundraising page!

“The human race is a remarkable creature, one with great potential, and I hope that ‘Star Trek’ has helped to show us what we can be if we believe in ourselves and our abilities.” – the late Gene Roddenberry, creator of “Star Trek”

A better world, a brighter future. No disease or suffering. Limitless possibility. Hope. These were all part of Gene Roddenberry’s vision of “Star Trek.”They also run parallel to PanCAN’s vision — to create a world in which every patient with pancreatic cancer will thrive.

The three of us – Armin, Kitty and Jonathan – joined forces with PanCAN last year. We were overwhelmed with what we were able to accomplish. So, we are back to raise money, raise awareness and raise hope – as well as the pancreatic cancer survival rate – as part of PanCAN PurpleStride 2022.

PanCAN PurpleStride Los Angeles 2022 is back in-person this year, and in cities all over the country, which means anyone can participate from anywhere. Sign up today and start helping fund pancreatic cancer research and PanCAN’s free programs and services that support patients and their families.

No one believes in science and hope for the future more than“Star Trek” fans, and we invite everyone who would like to be part of our PurpleStride Los Angeles team to join us! Together, we can get the pancreatic cancer survival rate way beyond 11%.

Let’s make it so.

About PanCAN's PurpleStride

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s (PanCAN) PurpleStride is a year-round national movement that funds life-changing programs and services to accelerate progress for pancreatic cancer patients.

On one powerful day through nearly 60 PurpleStride events nationwide, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together to honor everyone affected by the disease.
