Welcome to our "Hogey's Home Runners" team page for the upcoming PanCAN PurpleStride walk for Pancreatic Cancer. 

Eric Martsolf and Martha Madison have co-chaired this fundraising team in honor of TV's greatest hero, (and their onscreen Dad) Drake Hogestyn. Drake was the most energetic, optimistic and compassionate man in Salem, and we know he would want us to focus on joy, togetherness and fun as we move toward a future devoid of Pancreatic Cancer. So, with a heart full of Drake's team spirit and a crew full of Salem's most familiar faces, we invite you to join in our first-ever PurpleStride team walk in Los Angeles on April 26th! We'd love to see you there! 

PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network) was the first organization dedicated to fighting pancreatic cancer in a comprehensive way, and for more than two decades, they’ve grown a nationwide movement tackling the disease from all angles including research, advocacy and patient services. The funds we raise here will go toward helping thousands of people currently fighting this disease. So, with regard to our fundraising goals, let's "SWING FOR THE FENCES," as Drake would say!

 If you aren't local and still want to participate, just sign up on our team and then you can check out purplestride.org to find one of the other nearly 60 walks happening across the country that you can attend in your area. OR - feel free to walk right in your own neighborhood and take a selfie or a video! Tag us on IG in your social snaps, and you may be chosen for a live zoom call with Eric and Martha.
