UPDATE: 4/27/25

We made it!!  And I am thrilled to say that the Wankum Warriors were in the top 10 teams in the Kansas City area on dollars raised!  

I am so thankful for all the support!  From those who walked and those who donated to those who have supported me in their thoughts, prayers and words.

It was very encouraging to meet other survivors.  I plan to be at this event for many years.

Although Purple Stride 2025 is over, donations will continue to be collected until sometime in June. We are at $4,400 which is just short of my ambitious goal of $5,000.  Any donations until then would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

In April 2024 I became a PanCan warrior.  This is the first of what I hope is many years, I plan to be taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! 

We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would be profoundly grateful for your donation. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
