Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

On October 16, 2024, our lives were forever changed when our precious Mom/Hama, Denise Dunwald, lost her battle against pancreatic cancer. She made a courageous and valiant effort to defeat this monster, but like so many others, by the time she developed symptoms of this devastating disease, she was already stage IV and given a grim prognosis. She never gave up hope during her 9-month ordeal. Her bravery was inspiring to so many. My Mama had a smile and laugh that could outshine the brightest star and the kindest and most loving heart. So many people loved and continue to love her through shared memories. Our hearts are broken, but as a close family we have each other to lean on as we navigate the wild ride of grief. I have found solace in finding ways to be proactive. It is bringing joy to my heart to “stride” into action to bring awareness and raise funding for pancreatic cancer patients and research!
