Welcome to Dave's PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!
Life is filled with challenges that test our resilience, and this past year has brought me face-to-face with one of the most challenging battles of my life, stage four pancreatic cancer. While the journey has been anything but easy, I am constantly reminded of the power of support, faith, and the strength we find in the small but meaningful moments waking up to a new day, taking a deep breath, and appreciating the love around us.
The most important aspects of being an educator, in my words, are fostering resilience, inspiring critical thinking, embracing inclusivity, and preparing students to navigate a rapidly changing world with empathy, adaptability, and purpose. I believe in the power of giving back, and I encourage everyone to explore how we can support one another. Whether you or someone you love is facing a similar journey, know you’re not alone. We can help bring strength, peace, and purpose to others who need it most.

About PanCAN PurpleStride
Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.
On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
