Solar Sounds || Music for PanCan
Join us for a night of music, Melody Market vendors, and creative connection.
This evening is about remembrance, hope, and community - honoring those who’ve lost someone or been personally affected by pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is one of the hardest cancers to detect and treat, with a five-year survival rate of just 13%. Because early symptoms are often vague, awareness and research are crucial.
Sara from the Solar Sounds team lost her father to pancreatic cancer last year. This event honors him and everyone impacted by transforming grief into action through music, art, and togetherness.
The event is free with RSVP. Donations are encouraged to support PanCAN’s research and patient advocacy programs, and every contribution enters you into a raffle featuring a bunch of prizes from local partners.
We also encourage you to bring a photo for our photo wall, to remember loved ones during the event.

A supernova is an explosion of a star that shines millions of times brighter than before & together, we all shine brighter. Through the Solar Sounds event series, Supernova, we connect artists to bridge communities and share sound across Philadelphia for a good cause. Each Supernova event is completely charitable, with 100% of proceeds donated to a cause we believe in. Past beneficiaries include Prevention Point Philly, The Loveland Foundation, RHD Morris Home, StreetWatchLA, Women Against Abuse, and ArtWell. This month, we’re proud to support PanCAN in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
