My experience with pancreatic cancer has been a remarkable, and life changing in so many ways. I have been so blessed, and surrounded by family and friends that helped me get through my challenge. I am focusing my time on my family, and doing everything I can to increase the survivor rate for pancreatic cancer. My team, PAN-tastic is taking steps at the ultimate walk, PurpleStride, to support PanCAN's efforts and the wonderful work they do for patients, their families and advocating for the cause.
PurpleStride participants help fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and so much more.

Your contribution last year made a difference.
Amidst an uncertain and disruptive year that was 2025, thePancreatic Cancer Action Network remained steadfast in its fight to end pancreatic cancer.
Last April over 1,300 PanCAN families, friends and more than 30 pancreas cancer survivors joined us in Scottsdale, AZ. Tens of thousands more joined thePancreatic Cancer Action Network for PurpleStride in 60 cities across the U.S. proving the power of a community that will not quit on this disease.
When significant funding was cut from key programs leaving research facing generational risk, PanCAN mobilized its community to ensure our leaders understood the impacts and we challenged them to ignore our voices…they couldn’t:
“…our community mobilized and made their voices impossible to ignore, prompting Congress to reaffirm strong bipartisan support for cancer research in their current spending bills...so that promising, life-saving research can move forward without interruption.”

Positive progress in early detection, precision medicine, collaboration and data-driven research across all aspects of the medical community demonstrated the potential opportunities when we come together to save lives threatened by this deadly disease.
Key partnerships with companies likeRevolution Medicines andAcurion, Inc. drive and advance progress. The development of PanCAN’s SPARK, health data integration is celebrated for its transformative nature and impact on how researchers access and analyze patient data.
Remarkable progress in a hyper-challenged year, but there is more to be done and lives to be saved, (over 50K Americans will die because of pancreatic cancer in 2026). We won’t stop this momentum to save and improve lives touched by this devastating disease.
