This year, we are walking with PanCAN PurpleStride in honor of someone who meant the world to us - Laura Factor, who we lost far too soon to pancreatic cancer.

Laura wasn't just my mom's best friend, she was like a second mother to me after mine passed away. She had a heart big enough for everyone. She welcomed people into her life with open arms, always making sure you had a seat at the table and something to eat. She showed us all what it meant to be thoughtful, selfless, and family-first.

She raised three amazing kids who I consider my brothers and sister. She cared for everyone around her and now, we walk in her memory, and in honor of the way she lived: full of love, grace, and generosity.

Laura was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed away less than a year later. This disease is devastating and fast-moving, but we're joining PanCAN to help change that for every family who's still fighting, and in memory of those we've lost.

PanCAN is leading the way with bold research, patient support, and advocacy for earlier detection and better treatments. With your help, we can drive progress and save lives.
