I’m walking in PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 25, 2026, to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer—and I need your help.

This cause is deeply personal. My mother passed away from pancreatic cancer, and exactly 20 years from when I was diagnosed in February 2024. With faith in God and the incredible care of my medical team at Inova Fairfax Hospital, I am looking forward to celebrating my two year anniversary of survivorship in July. 

Sadly, one of my sisters is currently undergoing treatment as well.

Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S., yet it remains severely underfunded. Through PurpleStride, funds raised provide free patient support and help increase the survival rate— from 13% towards a goal of 20% survival by 2030.
