Welcome to My Personal Page

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can't take away our determination.

In June of 2015, we were hit with the most devastating news. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. We all heard the stories and we knew the inevitable with this cancer but I kept hope. I thought my mom would be that rare miracle and will make it through. After many rounds of chemo, my mother lost the battle and passed away in 10 months. Imagine going through birthdays and holidays thinking, this is probably going to be my last Christmas or birthday I’ll ever get to spend with my mother and how you try to savor every second or make it so special. It hurt so much and I never want people to feel that. This cancer is the deadliest cancer and it does not get enough funding or raise enough to make an impact - but it all has to start somewhere and we can continue raising money so there is a change and a higher survival rate!

Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating today, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

Purple ribbons aren't enough. Please join me in the fight today.
