PurpleStride is a year-round national movement that funds life-changing programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients. Your participation and fundraising make it all possible.

Because your safety is our top priority, PurpleStride San Diego is going virtual, and we invite you to participate in your own way, from anywhere, on Sunday, October 25, 2020.

What exactly does that mean? Do whatever activity makes you happy: biking, hiking, fishing, baking (and even polar plunging!). Personalize your PurpleStride day in honor of those you love.

Be sure to connect with other virtual PurpleStriders in your area by joining the San Diego Affiliate Facebook Group. Get inspired, share fundraising ideas and celebrate together!

Everyone who raises $25 or more in donations (including your previously paid registration fee, if you paid to register) will receive a commemorative virtual PurpleStride T-shirt. Volunteers in your local affiliate will work on a safe way to distribute T-shirts to anyone who qualifies.

Important Parking Information: Please note, due to the race, N. Mission Bay Drive and East Mission Bay Drive between The Hilton Hotel and De Anza Cove parking lot will be closed beginning as early as 7 a.m. There is a possibility access to the parking lot may remain open until 7:30 a.m., but we cannot guarantee it. Please allow plenty of time to get to event site before 7 a.m., and plan around the road closures. There will be no event parking at the Hilton Hotel.

We love animals just as much as you do! However, due to safety and liability reasons, pets are unfortunately not allowed at Pancreatic Cancer Action Network events. Service animals are, of course, welcome.

Strollers and wheelchairs are absolutely welcome at PurpleStride!

Registration Information

Packet Pickup

Beat the lines on event day by picking up your T-shirt at packet pick-up. Registration prices increase on event day, so make sure to invite friends and family to register at this time if they haven’t already done so!

Are you a Captain of a team with five or more members who’d like to pick up packets for your entire team? We will post information on how to RSVP for packet pickup as we get closer to the event.RSVP in advance so that you get your materials quicker at packet pick-up. If you decide to pick up for your entire team (please, no partial team pick-ups), make sure to let each member know so that there isn’t any confusion!
