Everyone who is registered and raises or makes a personal donation of $25 or more by Sunday, March 21 will receive a PurpleStride T-shirt!* This spring, T-shirts will be mailed directly to supporters who meet the deadline, to the address given during registration. No in-person T-shirt pick-ups will be held, so be sure you register and raise $25 in time for your shirt to be mailed. Most shirts should arrive the week of your event, but some shipping delays may be out of our control.
*All pancreatic cancer survivors who register by the deadline for PurpleStride are eligible to receive a special survivor T-shirt, and no fundraising minimum is required.
Heather Moore
A familiar face in the Valley, Heather Moore has been on the air in Phoenix for well over a decade. The Emmy award-winning journalist first came to 3TV back in 2003 from KCRA in Sacramento.
For nearly five years she was a part of Arizona’s Family late-night news before landing a main anchor job at KUSI in San Diego.
Heather returned to the Valley of the Sun in 2019 and joined CBS 5, eventually earning a spot on the prestigious 5-Investigates team.
Things came full circle in 2014 when CBS 5 became part of Arizona’s Family and Heather was back on the evening news desk at 3TV. She is currently anchoring the 8, 9, and 10 p.m. weekly newscasts.
Her work has been recognized by the Associated Press and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of NATAS, where she is proud to have earned an Emmy Award for her report on 'The Politics of Public Safety,' addressing why Arizona was one of the very last states to have a ban on using cell phones while driving.
A beach girl at heart, Heather enjoys the outdoors, loves to travel, work-out and read, but admittedly spends most of her free time with her husband, trying to keep up with their adorable little boy.
