Parking

Parking is available in on-campus lots #2a, 2b, 2c. Lot #3 will be used as overflow parking.

Pets

We love animals just as much as you do! However, due to safety and liability reasons, pets are not allowed at Pancreatic Cancer Action Network events. Service animals are welcome.

Strollers and Wheelchairs

Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome at PurpleStride!

T-SHIRTS

Everyone who registered and raised or made a personal donation of $50 or more by April 10 will receive a PanCAN PurpleStride T⁠-⁠shirt! Those who raised $50 by April 10 can pick up their T⁠-⁠shirts on Friday, April 29 at Texas A&M University – San Antonio from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. or on Saturday, April 30 at the T⁠-⁠shirt Tent in the event village.

All pancreatic cancer survivors who register for PurpleStride are eligible to receive a special survivor T⁠-⁠shirt and no fundraising minimum is required.

Emily Baucum



News 4 Trouble Shooter & Anchor Emily Baucum is an EMMY Award-winning journalist. She was born and raised in San Antonio. Since joining News 4 in March 2012, Emily’s reported on the biggest stories impacting our area. Highlights include the February 2021 power crisis, the ongoing immigration crisis on the border and the 2014 Spurs championship run in Miami. She graduated high school from Keystone School. Emily then graduated from Northwestern University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism, with a second major in political science.
