Event Details
We can’t wait to see you at PanCAN PurpleStride Las Vegas with Premier Sponsor Optum Care Cancer Care, taking place on One Big Day, Saturday, April 29, 2023! We loved being back in person last year and want to make an even bigger impact this year – we need YOU to do that!
We’re bringing together pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters in your community for a memorable day, and we want you there. Walk around the event village, grab a snack, write on the tribute wall, take pictures with your family and friends in the photo area, and be inspired during the opening ceremony before you set off on the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

Parking & Public Transit
Event site is at Valerie Pida Plaza, adjacent to the Student Union on the UNLV campus (University
Las Vegas, NV 89119). Free parking available on campus in various lots – closest options include Lot D, Lot E, Lot V, Lot B. University Gateway Parking Garage is also an option, just south of the event site.
VIP/Survivor Parking will be in the first row of Lot D, which are lined with meter parking spaces (there will be no cost, and we will have reservation signage).
There is a transit center on campus for public transportation.

Pets
We love animals just as much as you do! However, due to safety and liability reasons, pets are not allowed at Pancreatic Cancer Action Network events. Service animals are welcome.
Strollers and Wheelchairs
Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome at PanCAN PurpleStride!

And you’ll get your own personal fundraising page, where supporters can learn why you’re participating and help you reach – and exceed! – your fundraising goal. Everyone who registers and raises (or makes a personal donation of):
- $50 or more will receive the official PanCAN PurpleStride 2023 T-shirt
- $1,000 or more will become a member of our PanCAN PurpleStride Grand Club and receive exclusive Grand Club gear!

T-SHIRTS
Everyone who registers and raises or self-donates $50 or more by event day will receive the official PanCAN PurpleStride 2023 T-shirt, available for pick up at your event. We’ll do our best to ensure supply and preferred sizes, but T-shirts are subject to availability.
All pancreatic cancer survivors who register for PurpleStride are eligible to receive a special survivor T-shirt with no fundraising minimum required.
