We can’t wait to see you at PanCAN PurpleStride Chicago, on Saturday, April 27, 2024!
We’re bringing together pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters in your community for a memorable day, and we want you there. Walk around the event village, grab a snack, write on the tribute wall, take pictures with your family and friends in the photo area, and be inspired during the opening ceremony before you set off on the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

Parking & Public Transit
Participant parking on site at Cantigny Park, accessible from Winfield Rd. Follow signs to Survivor/VIP parking.
Overflow parking at Veterans Affairs Administration Garage (479 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton, IL).
If you are parked in the overflow parking lot, a shuttle will transport you to and from the event. Check out the overflow parking/shuttle map here.
For participants using Metra to travel to the event, please take UP-W line to Winfield Station. We will have free shuttles available to transport train riders from the Winfield Station to/from the event site at Cantigny Park.
Note: There is ONE TRAIN arriving to the Winfield Station – departs Chicago OTC (Ogilvie Transportation Center) at 8:40 AM, arrives at Winfield Station at 9:35 AM, and ONE TRAIN departing Winfield at 12:49 PM (arrives at Chicago OTC at 1:50 PM). If you will be using Metra to travel to the event, please check the Metra website (linked below) for train information, and allow yourself extra time for train travel/delays.

Pets
We love our pets just as much as you do! However, due to safety and liability reasons, pets are not allowed at Pancreatic Cancer Action Network events. Service animals are welcome.

Everyone who registers and raises (or makes a self–donation of):
- $50 or more will receive the official PanCAN PurpleStride 2024 T-shirt
- $1,000 or more will become a member of our PanCAN PurpleStride Grand Club and receive exclusive Grand Club gear!
Can't make it to your local PanCAN PurpleStride? Register for PurpleStride USA and participate from wherever you are, and in any way you like!
T-SHIRTS
Everyone who registers and raises or self-donates $50 or more by event day will receive the official PanCAN PurpleStride 2024 T-shirt, available for pick up at your event. We’ll do our best to ensure supply and preferred sizes, but T-shirts are subject to availability. We are unable to ship T-shirts after the event.
All pancreatic cancer survivors who register for PurpleStride are eligible to receive a special survivor T-shirt with no fundraising minimum required.
SPECIAL GUEST
Michelle Abraham
Michelle Abraham is a radio and TV personality in Rockford, Illinois. She hosts Good Day Stateline weeknights on FOX39 and you can hear her weekdays on 97ZOK from 10am-3pm. She’s also a children’s book author (get your copy at LunchtimeSmorgasbord.com) and a long-time PanCan supporter. Her mom, Sue, was diagnosed with stage 2 Pancreatic Cancer in 2006 and the entire family has been supporting their survivor at PurpleStride Chicago events ever since.
