Registering for PurpleStride will give you access to PanCAN PurpleStride Dashboard. Your Dashboard is your one-stop-shop for all your PurpleStride fundraising needs. You can get started with these four easy steps:

1. Customize your personal fundraising page with your photo and your personal story. When family and friends know why you’re taking steps against pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride, they’ll be more motivated to support you.
2. Connect your page to Facebook Fundraiser. Facebook Fundraiser creates a special page on Facebook where you can invite people to follow updates you post and to donate towards your goal. Striders who connect to Facebook Fundraiser raise 5 times more than those who don't!
3. Download the PurpleStride app. The app is another great way to personalize and send pre-written messages through email, text, and social media. We have messages for you to ask for support, and to thank those who donated.
4. Make a self-donation. If you haven’t already done so, donate to your own fundraiser. Striders who make a self-donation raise twice as much as those who don’t!

Your PurpleStride Dashboard (and the PurpleStride app) includes prewritten fundraising and thank-you messages you can personalize and send to your family and friends via email and social media. Reach out early and often using these tools!

We make donating to your fundraiser easy! Our forms accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, VISA, PayPal, and ApplePay.

You can also adjust your fundraising goal in the Dashboard or app. We recommend a minimum goal of $200 but encourage you to reach for the stars! If you raise $1,000 or more, you'll join the PanCAN PurpleStride Grand Club and receive an exclusive gift!

GET CREATIVE!

There are lots of ways to raise funds for the fight against pancreatic cancer. Here are a few ideas other Striders used to reach their goals. The sky's the limit — you may get even more creative! Have fun and let us know what you did on social media using the hashtag #PanCANPurpleStride.

• Get 8 people to "sponsor" you for $25 each.
• Ask 10 coworkers to contribute at least $10 and ask your employer to match their donations.Learn more about Matching Gifts.
• Post on your Facebook Fundraiser, challenging friends to give up their coffee for a day and instead donate $5.
• Ask friends to donate to your PurpleStride fundraising goal instead of giving you a birthday or holiday gift.
• Do you knit scarves, sew pillows, paint or make candles in your downtime? Sell your crafts on sites like Etsy and donate the income. Or host a class and ask for a $10 donation to participate.
• Host a game night, talent show, dance marathon, sports tournament, chili cook-off, community scavenger hunt or ice cream social and charge an entry fee.
• Host a lemonade stand or bake sale.
• Ask your local gym to donate the proceeds from one of their yoga, Pilates or spin classes.

GET YOUR COMPANY INVOLVED

Are you an employer wanting to support PanCAN PurpleStride participants in your company?

• Provide space for team meetings
• Give prizes to the individual and/or team that raises the most money
• Recognize Team Captains and top fundraisers online and in the office
• Promote the event on company bulletin boards and in newsletters
• Match employees' fundraising dollars

Are you a staff member wanting your company to support your PurpleStride efforts?

• Ask your employer to offer casual dress or a half-day off for employees who join your team or donate $10 (or more!)

Participants who send fundraising emails raise twice as much as those who don't, and we made sending them easy with your PanCAN PurpleStride Dashboard or the PurpleStride app. Just log in, click Send Fundraising Messages to Family & Friends and use one of the email templates to ask for support. Make it personal by sharing why you're participating in PurpleStride.

Don't limit yourself to these messages — turn every email into an opportunity! Log in to your PanCAN PurpleStride Dashboard, click Send Fundraising Messages to Family & Friends, then the Email Signature tab for instructions on how to add a PurpleStride email badge to your personal and work email accounts. Your badge will update your email recipients about your fundraising progress and inspire them to donate.

Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play, search for “PurpleStride,” and download the app. Or just click the link below from your phone!

To log in, click the app icon on your phone and enter the username and password you used to register for the event.

With the app, you can:
