Pancreatic cancer does not stop or slow down, and neither do we!

We are going to help make progress, with your support.

Dwaine and I are again participating in PurpleStride, a year-round national movement that funds life-changing programs via PanCAN.  PanCAN  (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network) funds research, provides services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families, and advocates for more federal funding.   

We both lost our first spouses to this disease and now volunteer with PANCAN believing it is our best hope to fight pancreatic cancer.  Steve Jobs, Alex Trebec, John Lewis, Ruth Ginsburg and Senator Harry Reid have recently died from it as well as countless others familiar to all.  Already this year two of our neighbors have family and friends with new diagnoses of pancreatic cancer.  

PURPLE STRIDE of Orange County this year is April 29 at Angel Stadium.  Funds are used throughout America and raised locally.   Support and/or attend at any Purple Stride event you can.  There is likely one near you on April 29.

Every dollar you give means more patients can benefit from PanCAN’s free, one-on-one support, personalized information services, and resources that can make a real difference in their lives. It is a 4/4 charity for efficiency and heavily funds research. Again, all funds are directed to PanCAN nationally. 

Patients and families need us now more than ever.   This year we hope to raise even more than in 2022 which was $30,000 from our team.  We want our fundraising to match the success we are having with research, government support and patient survival.
