Hi there, 

Today is World Pancreatic Cancer Day.

On May 28, 2020, my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. On July 31, 2021 he lost his battle with the disease. I can’t really begin to describe the impact his loss has had on my family: devastated is too light a word. But that doesn't mean we've given up the fight he started. If there’s anything we can do to support others in the battle - I know it makes a difference. 

My family will be walking to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

We want to make the biggest impact possible on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services. Pancreatic cancer is often overlooked until it reaches later stages of development, severely reducing the chances of someone recovering from the disease. Better detection and treatment options combat negative outcomes for patients and their families.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money I raise, the bigger an impact we make – and would appreciate a gift of any size to help me get there.
